Wiko: Disrupting the Smartphone Design Norm with Artistic Expression

Our project involved rebranding the French smartphone company, Wiko.

We took inspiration from the famous French artist Yves Klein, and aimed to showcase the product like an art piece.

Our approach was to incorporate Frenchness into the design, with a focus on modern art's bold simplicity in form and structure. We chose International Klein Blue, a special hue of blue developed by Klein, to add a French and fresh look to the brand.

Our design challenge was to reduce the complexities of product features and instead focus on simplicity, making the product visually appealing and easy to understand. The result was a rebrand that captured the essence of French art and the Wiko brand's commitment to simplicity and user-friendly design.
